Registration & race numbers

Until when can I register for the race?
Online registration is possible until Saturday 28 September at noon. After this deadline, registration is done on site on the day of the race.
What is included in the registration?
Participation in the most beautiful race in the Walloon Brabant, warm-up and recovery counselling sessions provided by professionals from the ‘Martin’Spa Bodywhealth’ team, quality and eco-responsible refreshment stations along the itinerary and at the arrival, electronically Timed results available online (only for runners), the opportunity to make a donation to one of the four charities we support, carbon footprint compensation for the event thanks to our partner CO2Logic, prize-giving ceremony for the first 3 winners from each category.
Where and when can I pick up my race number?

You can come and pick up your race number on the day of the race during your registration at the stand in front of Martin’s Château du Lac. Please pick up your number at least 30 minutes before the race. Please bring your QR Code (paper or smartphone) that you will receive by email before the run. Note: we are using reusable numbers. Don’t forget to give your number back at the end of the race

Is my run timed?

You will receive a race number that will be fitted with a transmitter (on the back). Place your number on the front of your T-shirt so as to allow your timing to be recorded when you reach the finishing line. 

Will I received a race medal?
No. Martin’s Run is an environmentally friendly event and we do not wish to give away single-use objects.
Can I get a Martin's Run shirt?
Martin’s Run shirts are not for sale. Only Martin’s Hotels staff members run with a Martin’s Run shirt.

Cloakrooms, luggage rooms, nursery

Is there a changing room?
Changing rooms and restrooms (no showers) will be available at Martin’s Château du Lac from 08:30. If you wish, you will be able to leave your bags in a supervised room at the hotel.
Are there any showers?
There are no showers available.
Is there a luggage room?
A luggage room will be accessible between 08:30 and 14:00 at Martin’s Château du Lac. Please bring a closed bag to put in your valuables.
Is there a nursery?

This year we don’t organise a nursery due to a lack of participation the past editions. However many activities will be organised outside thanks to our partners. These activities are under the surveillance and responsibility of the parents and family members.

Races & Programme

What is the racing time?
  • 08:30: Registrations and distribution race numbers
  • 08:30: Opening of the Martin’s Village
  • 09:30: Group departure 14-km walk (walking trail)
  • 10:00: Warm-up for 14-km run
  • 10:15: Departure 14-km run (race)
  • 10:30: Warm-up 5-km run
  • 10:45: Departure 5-km run (race)
  • 13:00: Prize awards ceremony
  • 14:00: Martin’s Run ends
Is there a warm-up?
Yes. Come and warm up with Martin’Spa Bodywhealth just before the departure for each run! We will give you a few tips before setting you loose on the fantastic itineraries we have prepared for you!
Are there any refreshment stations?
Refreshments will be available in the stations provided in the departure and finishing areas as well as those that will set up along the routes (km 5 and 11). Refeshments are available for bother runners and walkers. This year we will have water fountains, so bring your camelbak and other bottles to fill them with water along the way!
Can I bring my water bottle or camelbak?
Of course! We will have a water fountain in the departure and arrival zones, so bring your camelbak and other bottles to fill them with water along the way!

Mobility & Access

Can I come by train?
Yes, take advantage of the S-train, an easy way to travel to, from and around Brussels. Genval station is 800 m from the departure zone. Check out the timetables here.
Can I come by bus?
Martin’s Château du Lac can be reached with TEC-line 366 (stop “Genval – Château du Lac »). The bus stop is 800 m from the hotel. Find the itinerary here.
Can I come by bike?
Yes, access is easy, and a bike rack will be installed. The bike racks will be watched. Please bring a slot.
Can I come on foot?
For those of you live close enough, why not walk? Nothing could be easier or more eco-friendly.
Can I do carsharing?
Please do! Aim to share your car to reduce the impact on the environment, as well as the transport costs or the impact on the neighbours. Are you going to Martin’s Run by car and have some empty places left? Or you don’t know how to get there and are looking for someone to drive along? Share or ask for a ride on our Facebook event!
Is there a car park?
Should you come by car, we invite you to park in the following car parks:

– Car park Schweppes : Rue du Cerf 127 – 1332 Rixensart, free
